Black Hawk Middle School is part of the award-winning Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Public Schools, which provides boundless opportunities and infinite possibilities for students to learn and grow. It is our mission to help students develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to enable them to be successful and productive members of a diverse, global society.

We have a strong reputation for providing academic courses that are engaging and challenging. Each grade's course curriculum incrementally builds upon the rigor of the previous year, providing a stimulating, hands-on learning atmosphere. We believe in setting high academic standards, implementing an inquiry-based curriculum for all students to be successful. We also offer a full complement of co-curricular activities, enrichments and exploratory programs for all students to participate. Our dedicated faculty and staff is committed to providing a nurturing environment focusing on positive relationships, collaboration and achievement. And providing opportunities for all students to reach their full potential is a priority.
