Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will open January 2026.

2026-2027 9th Grade High School Registration

8th grade students will register for high school classes in January. Students will start the process by viewing an informational video during Panther Time that is provided by Eastview and Eagan High Schools about courses offered, graduation requirements and the registration processes for high school. Students will be grouped based on high school enrollment.

School counselors from EVHS and EHS also visit BHMS in January to assist students in completing the online registration and answer questions students may have about transitioning to high school.

Parent Registration Nights

  • Rosemount - Thursday, January 15 - 6:00-8:00 PM PAC
  • Apple Valley- Tuesday, January 20 - 6-7 PM, Theatre
  • Eagan - Tuesday, January 20 - 6-7 PM Auditorium
  • Eastview- Wednesday, January 21 - 6:30-8:30 PM PAC 

All High Schools will be visiting middle schools on Thursday, January 22nd.

Spring Visits - Middle Schools travel to Eagan and Eastview on May 14 @ 10 AM. BHMS Staff will connect directly with students going to AVHS or RHS to make arrangements for their high school visits.


 

Open Enrollment & Intradistrict Transfer Information

If you are open enrolled to the district, you will or have received an email from the District Student Information Department. You will need to respond by December 15th to declaring a high school choice.

If you are the parent or guardian of a child (or an adult student age 18 or older), who lives in Independent School District 196, and if you would like that child to attend a school other than the child's attendance area school, complete the application form below and return it by the appropriate deadline to:

This program allows you to apply to transfer your student to another public school district. The Statewide Enrollment Options application are reviewed after the January 15th deadline. Statewide Enrollment Options Form is a required form for all Minnesota school districts. This application is renewed annually.
