Science Olympiad
Join Science Olympiad!
Meeting days/times: Monday & Wednesday from 3:15-4:45pm
Tournaments: some in person, some on-line
Each participant will work on at least 2 events, or science topics, throughout the year. Each practice you will continue studying, learning, building, testing, or practicing for your events with your partner(s) in order to prepare for competition at our tournaments. Events include topics like: Disease Detectives, Meteorology, Food Science, Crime Busters, Ping Pong Parachute, Code Busters, and many more.
Welcome to SCIENCE OLYMPIAD Club!
In grades 6-12, Science Olympiad functions much like a football or soccer team, requiring preparation, commitment, coaching and practice throughout the year. Each fall, Science Olympiad releases new rules and teams tackle STEM-aligned events. In this virtual year, students will participate in engaging engineering events, using computer programs like CAD and SkyCiv.

Students are preparing for competition by researching, practicing, and building for a variety of different science topics and challenges ranging from weather to anatomy to water quality and much more!

2019-20 BHMS Science Olympiad Teams at our second tournament of the season at Kenwood Trail Middle School in Lakeville. 11 members received medals in their events!
