About the Program

Who: Grades 7 and 8

Season:

7th Grade: Winter II (January 6 - February 21, 2025)

8th Grade: Winter III (February 24 - April 15, 2025)

Practice: 3:20-4:45 p.m. every day after school

Signup on: Edutrak

Sports Physical Required: A sports physical must be on file before you can register on Edutrak. Completed sports physicals which have been signed by a physician can be dropped off at the BHMS main office or faxed to 651-683-8527.

General Info:

Parents, please be at Black Hawk lower entrance (door 8) at 4:45 p.m. for pick up after practice.
All games start at 3:45 p.m., home or away. Transportation to and from BHMS will be provided on game days.

Panther Protocol

Panther Protocol:

We want this athletic experience to be a positive one for all athletes. With that, the following is the plan to help keep things understood and communicated for proper behaviors:

Strike 1: Coach McDonald addresses the team and lays out expectations on the first day. The main message being that anything that makes individuals not comfortable being at practice or meets, or not feeling part of the team, will be addressed. Also, an unwillingness to participate at some level, and/or disrespect to a coach.

Strike 2: Coach and/or Athletic Director will contact home, address the situation, and see whether we need a 1 game/meet suspension or whether we even need a strike 3 or not.

Strike 3: Another negative occurrence takes place. Removal from team.
