The Icettes Figure Skating Team is the district-wide varsity figure skating program for ISD 196. Since 1976, the Icettes have provided students in grades 7–12 with the opportunity to develop their skating skills, build friendships, and represent their school district in competitions.

The program welcomes skaters from Rosemount, Apple Valley, Eagan, and Eastview High Schools, as well as the School of Environmental Studies (SES) and all ISD 196 middle schools.

The Icettes program includes:

  • Varsity and Junior Varsity synchronized skating teams
  • Varsity and Junior Varsity individual competitors
  • Small team and individual events for skaters of all experience levels, from beginner through advanced
  • Team production performances that include every team member

Throughout the season, skaters participate in competitions and perform in the annual Icettes Ice Show at the Apple Valley Sports Arena.

The season runs from November through March.
