ATTENDANCE
Attendance at practice is required. If you will be missing practice or a game for ANY reason, you must let your coach know in advance. If you are absent from school, your coach will be notified. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact your coach ASAP. If a player misses a practice or game for an unexcused reason, loss of playing time will occur.
GENERAL BEHAVIOR
Good sportsmanship is #1 on the list. You are representing Black Hawk Middle School - Do It With Pride! Have a positive attitude, and always do your best. Be a team player. Have fun!
TEAM SELECTION AND GAME PLAY
Ability, attitude and attendance are all considerations during the team selection process. Individual playing time during a match may vary from game to game. Coaches will take time missed from practice and effort during practice into account when making the line up.
GAMES
Home Games start at 3:45 p.m. Games will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to end around 5 p.m.
Athletes will need a ride home from the school after the game. Rides can be at BHMS by 4:45 p.m. You do not need to be signed out from home games.
AWAY GAMES
We will ride a bus to away games. Buses leave no later than 3:10 p.m. from the lower parking lot. Athletes will NOT get out of class early for away games.
Athletes must get changed immediately after school and meet in the lower lobby. Parents need to sign a release form if their child is going home with them after the game instead of riding the bus back to BHMS. (Talk to your coach before you leave the game.)
If athletes want to ride home with someone else, please give a parent note to your coach BEFORE getting on the bus. The parent giving you a ride home must sign the release form, too.
Athletes who are not signed out by their parents, will ride the bus back to BHMS and need to have a ride arranged.
