For 6th grade students, the "first day of school" is WEB Day! WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) is a program to help ease the transition to middle school. All sixth-graders are paired with an eighth-grade WEB leader, who serve as a mentor throughout the year. There will be school tours, small and large group team building activities, and more!

Doors Open:  7:50 a.m. Students may not be dropped off prior to 7:50 a.m.

Arrival of Buses:  8:00 a.m. (approx.)

End of Academic Day: 3:10 PM

Students must be picked up by 3:30 p.m.

*Students may not stay after school unless supervised by a staff member and in an organized activity

Items will be delivered to your student at school.

Infinite Campus: Student Information System including Household information, Emergency Contact information, Attendance, and Report Cards/End of Term Grades. When you set up your account you will be required to update your household emergency contact information. An Activation Key provided by the school is needed to create an account. If you do not have an Activation Key, please contact the main office or fill in the form below.

Schoology: Student Learning Management System. Students will have access to their account. Parent accounts provide visibility to assignments, grading, and classroom and school-wide communications. A Parent Access Code is needed to create an account. If you do not have an access code, please contact the main office or fill in this form.

Schoology Support for Parents - This link provides videos to support your understanding of Schoology, our Learning Management System (LMS).  Students work in Schoology every day, so we ask parents to create an account or log into their existing account.  Schoology is where you can monitor your student’s assignments, work completion, and current grades. All participating students are required to have a Sports Physical on file with the School Nurse in order to participate.

Sports Physical Forms

Sports Physicals - it is never too early to think about completing a sports physical if your student hasn’t had one in the past three years and wants to participate in athletics next year. Twin Cities Orthopedics has a number of free sports physicals this summer, including one in the Eagan area on August 5th - see their website for more information.

At Black Hawk Middle School, there are Arts and Activities for every student

Students are invited and encouraged to to participate in the variety of art opportunities and activities. We have a number of academic clubs, fine arts experiences and theater opportunities, and we are always adding more!
