The Black Hawk Blast is our school’s one big fundraiser for the year! Once again, the end of the fundraising time culminated in a school-wide celebration – the Black Hawk BLAST!

BHMS Parent School Alliance Fundraiser!
Dear Black Hawk Middle School Parent(s) and Guardians,
The Black Hawk Parent School Alliance, a parent volunteer-run nonprofit organization, holds one big fundraiser for the year, which allows us to provide support back to the students of Black Hawk Middle School! Once again, the end of the fundraising period will culminate in a school-wide celebration – the Black Hawk BLAST.
Why do we need to fundraise?
It’s all for the kids! The Black Hawk Parent School Alliance helps BHMS raise money to cover costs that are not otherwise in the budget. Examples include:
- Special in-school events such as Battle of the Books, Maud Squad, field trips and year-end celebrations
- Recognition for student achievement and development (Panther Pride and 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony)
- WEB Program (Where Everybody Belongs)
- Field Trips
*Use of the funds will be determined and prioritized by the BHMS Parent School Alliance.

The student fundraiser will culminate during the Black Hawk BLAST and Panther Rally - a school-wide celebration at
The BLAST will be a fun filled day of collaborative games, activities, and school spirit! The Panther Time classes in each grade level that raise the most funds will receive funding for a celebration! Funding limited to $150 per winning class, and may cover a pizza party, ice cream bar, or other items as decided on by the PT teacher and their students.
