Black Hawk Middle School is excited to announce we are once again offering the Every Meal (formerly Sheridan Story) free weekend food program!

If your family is interested in receiving a free bag of groceries, students can pick these up on Friday before they leave for the weekend.

There are four choices of meal types:

  1. Basic meal
  2. Mobile meals (ready-to-eat food)
  3. Latino-focused foods
  4. East African/Somali focused foods

This program is completely free and your identity is kept private.

Fighting Child Hunger

More than 200,000 children in Minnesota live with food insecurity. Without reliable access to food – such as meal programs at school – the risk of hunger is very real. The Sheridan Story works to combat hunger in our community by filling the gaps to food access that children face: primarily weekends and summers.
