Congratulations to the Black Hawk Middle School Future Cities teams!

The 8th-grade, Future Cities Competition team "Ethos" won 3rd place at the regional competition last Saturday! The wonderful students had to redesign a city impacted by climate change.
The Future Cities Competition required them to write an essay, build a scale model of their city and give a seven minute presentation to engineer judges. In addition to taking third place, the team also won the special award for having the "Most Outstanding Model"!
The team consisted of: Zachary Browning, Madhushri Gupta, Geyasree Badri, Tyler Haffely, Gavin Yang, Caleb Rustin and Jonathan Rubin.
