2022-23 W.E.B. Leader applications
Students who are interested in applying to be an 8th-grade W.E.B. leader for the 2022-23 school year, should fill out the application linked below. Applications are due by 3 p.m. Friday, April 29. Ask any W.E.B. coordinator (Mr. Anderson, Ms. Beck, Mr. Beckman, Mr. Fritz, Ms. Lee or Ms. Lipinski) for help. More information>
Physical Education students should be prepared for outdoor classes beginning Monday, April 25. Students should have gym clothes that are weather appropriate (remember to dress in layers). Also, it's a good idea to have extra shoes and socks in case the grass is wet. We're excited to enjoy being outside!
Spring Musical - Into the Woods, Jr.
Public performances: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, Thursday, April 28, and Friday, April 29. A select group of friends and family will be invited to our previews at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, and 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 26.
Tickets go on sale in the main office on Monday, April 18. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
The Black Hawk drama department needs volunteers to run concessions during performances of Into the Woods Jr. on April 27, 28 and 29.

Friday ice cream
Beginning May 6, we will offer students an a la carte option of various ice cream treats each Friday during the month of May. During lunch, students can purchase ice cream for $1 to $2. If interested, parents should deposit money into the student lunch account at paypams.com.
Food service will also accept cash. Smaller bills are appreciated.
Students will be reminded they must stay seated and raise their hand to receive permission from the staff supervising the lunch room to go to the ice cream station.
We are collecting snacks for students with various needs. If you are doing a Costco run and would like to donate packs of Goldfish Crackers, cereal bars, raisins, etc., please email email@example.com or bring your donation by the main office. Your help is appreciated!
MCA testing begins Monday, April 4, on campus at BHMS.

Black Hawk will have a fundraising event from 4 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at Cafe Zupas, 3340 Central Park Village in Eagan. The school will receive 25% of the proceeds from the event.

Eagan High School Dance Team tryouts
Join the 2022-23 Eagan High School Dance Team this summer for training, technique, and team bonding. Tryouts are open to all students currently in grades 8 through 11.
Tryouts will be held in the EHS gym from 5:30 to 8 p.m. May 24, 3:30 to 6 p.m. May 25 and during an assigned time on May 26 (from 3 to 9 p.m.).

Free color guard intro classes
The Eastview marching band is holding FREE color guard introductory classes for all 6th-, 7th- and 8th-graders April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2 and 9 from 6-7:30 in the Eastview band room. All students are invited and welcome to try this incredible opportunity. No experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can to move in.
Eastview Lightning football
Players and parents interested in Eastview Lightning football are invited to an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Eastview High School in the Performing Arts Center (Theater). There will be information about practice and game schedules, summer conditioning and lifting, Lightning Football Camp, Duluth Team Camp, 7-on-7 opportunities, leadership meetings, fundraising, ELTC information, football communication, and more.
EAA Ultimate Frisbee
Eagan Athletic Association is offering middle school Ultimate Frisbee clinics and teams. Practices are Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and begin the week of April 4.
