Grades and report cards
Trimester 2 grades will be posted on Infinite Campus by Friday, March 18. More information can be found on the Black Hawk website at https://bhms.district196.org/families/family-resources/report-cards
Food and fund drive
BHMS will kick off our 6th annual Food and Funds Drive to benefit The Open Door Pantry on Monday, March 7.
Donations will be collected before school at the upper and lower entrances through Wednesday, March 16.
Monetary donations can be made online through Friday, March 18.

Panther Pride Award Ceremony
The Trimester 2 Panther Pride Award Ceremony will be at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, March 10, in the gymnasium. Students are recognized for their outstanding achievement and accomplishments in the areas of academics, citizenship, leadership or co-curricular activities. The teachers nominate the students during the trimester. If your child is receiving the award, you will have receive an invite letter by mail with all the information provided.

Downhill Ski/Snowboard Club
This year, the Downhill Ski/Snowboard Club is offering three trips to Hyland Hills Ski Area in Bloomington - Feb. 4, Feb. 11, Feb. 18 and March 4.

Spring Musical - Into the Woods!
Congratulations to the cast of Into the Woods Jr.! Thank you to all who auditioned!
Students who are cast should join the Into the Woods Schoology group and check every day for updates and information. Rehearsal calendar is available in the Schoology group and on the BHMS Spring Musical website.
Tech Crew members should join the Tech Crew Schoology group for all updates and times.
Athletics
Schedules for individual sports can be found on the Athletics webpages under each sport. Specific information for participants is communicated from coaches in Schoology.
The WINTER III sports season - Swimming & Diving - begins February 28. Information on practices and meets can be found on the Swimming Boys webpage.
Registration for SPRING (Track, Boys Tennis) seasons are open in MyPaymentsPlus.

Free color guard intro classes
The Eastview marching band is holding FREE color guard introductory classes for all 6th-, 7th- and 8th-graders April 4, 11, 18, 25, May 2 and 9 from 6-7:30 in the Eastview band room. All students are invited and welcome to try this incredible opportunity. No experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can to move in.

Eagan Athletic Association is offering middle school Ultimate Frisbee clinics and teams. Practices are Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and begin the week of April 4.
