“The Panther Way” represents a shared commitment between students and staff at BHMS. It's a collective agreement built directly on student input from every grade level, identifying specific behavioral expectations centered on the core values of Calmness, Kindness, and Safety within our learning environments.

Be Calm, Be Kind, Be Safe

Phones off and away all day. Food and fragrances put away.
On the bus: listen & follow directions, use expected language & volume, stay seated, keep hands body and objects to self, be clean.
In the Hallway: walk, keep hands and body to self, use expected language and volume
Classroom: be one time, come prepared, stay engaged, do your best
In the cafeteria: find a seat calmly, use conversational volume, food & beverages to self, help keep area clean
Technology: keep personal devices off and away all day, be responsible with your ipad, digital citizenship
Bathroom: honor privacy, be clean, return to class promptly, device free zone
